Your Wedding Day
The Star Inn is a popular venue for Wedding Receptions and for something very special can offer the facility of a traditional marquee to host proceedings. With our experience we are here to ensure that your reception runs without a hitch and your special day is one to remember. We will make sure that the whole event is stress free and enjoyable and will look forward to working with you both to ensure every aspect is to your liking. Using our extensive list of contacts we can also help with other aspects of the day including transportation and accommodation - please ask if you require more information.
Traditional Marquee
If you are looking for a romantic, traditional wedding, we are able to hold a grand reception in a traditional marquee in our grounds. We have large grounds and can erect a marquee to accommodate any size wedding. Marquees offer you a blank canvas and we can design the marquee to suit your particular tastes and requirements and can make the marquee as grand or as simple as you wish. For more relaxed wedding requirements we can also build smaller marquees in our gardens.
Catering
The Star Inn has a reputation for high standards in dining and with a great team in the kitchen headed by Chef Nick Botting, you can be secure in the knowledge that your food will be freshly prepared and be of the highest standard.
Once again we offer a choice for all catering needs. We can offer three or four courses sit down dining and all menus are designed on a personal basis, allowing personal choice and variety that can be tailor made to suit you and your party.
For more of a buffet style we can offer sit down fork buffets where we are serving the top table - or finger buffets for a very informal feel.
We have also a BBQ in the gardens, so if preferred we can offer a relaxed home cooked BBQ with a small Marquee in the grounds.
