As well as the superb, recently refurbished restaurant, The Star Inn has a traditional bar and separate dining area, both of which have real open fires, and are tastefully decorated to give a genuine country pub experience.
We offer a great choice of home-cooked bar snacks, lunches and evening meals, seven days a week. Served in the restaurant, bar or
garden, the extensive menu ranges from a bowl of delicious home-made soup through to local game and exotic fish dishes. Our popular Sunday lunches include a choice of 3 traditional roast meats with all the trimmings, and we also cater for children and vegetarians.
With a great team in the kitchen led by Head Chef Nick Botting, The Star Inn has a reputation for exceptional food and high standards in fine dining and can also cater for all manner of functions, whether it’s a wedding reception, croquet club dinner or celebration meal.
Having recently been listed in the Good Beer Guide, the Star Inn offers an excellent range of real ales, beers, ciders and great wines which can be enjoyed in the bar or outside in the beer garden.
